Transition Instructions
We do not anticipate any issues when switching from the current Science Diet Kitten Healthy Development to the new formulas. However, any time there is a change in food, especially with cats that are more sensitive, a gradual transition is a good idea. We recommend a seven day transition period, as a safety precaution. For any pet new to this food, it is important to mix increasing amounts of the new Science Diet Kitten Healthy Development with the old food over a 7-day period. Also keep fresh water available at all times.

Great food for our cat and kitten

First, I love the bag design. It's so cute with the three little kitties on the front, including the one that is sleeping! The bag is also really functional, with an integrated velcro-style closure that makes it easy to seal the bag and keep the food fresh. We have a 5 month old kitten and she likes this as a supplement to the wed food she eats. The kibble size is small and it is easy for her to chew. Our adult cat is eating it too right now, it is the same food we fed him when he was a baby and I think he still remembers it from back then.

I have a 3 month old kitten that I rescued about a month ago and it took forever to find a dry food he would eat. The moment I sat a bowl of this down he went to town. Great food for the pickiest of eaters, especially ones that don't enjoy wet food or treats.
